Information we receive
When you make an enquiry, Become receives your name, work email address, company and the message you submit. We also create a short-lived hashed network identifier to prevent form abuse.
When you send an enquiry, we also receive the page from which it was submitted, the first page visited during that session, the referring website where available and any campaign parameters included in the link. We use this information to understand how the enquiry reached Become and to assess which of our business-development activity is useful. We do not use the enquiry to add you to a marketing list.
Why we use it
Become uses the information to assess and respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries that people choose to send. We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list.
Storage and service providers
Enquiry information is stored in the website database hosted by Cloudflare and sent to Become's enquiry inbox through Resend. These providers process information on Become's behalf. They may process information outside the UK; information about the safeguards used for international transfers is available on request.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry while we assess and respond to it and, where needed, for follow-up and business recordkeeping. We delete it when it is no longer needed for those purposes and no legal obligation requires us to keep it. The hashed identifier used to prevent abuse is automatically removed when the form next processes a request after its two-hour retention window.
Attribution information submitted with an enquiry is retained with that enquiry and deleted when it is no longer needed for the same response, follow-up and business-record purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict how it is used, or object to our use of it. Email hello@becomeworks.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
