Who handles your information.

Become is the trading name of RIGHT INDEX LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 17066317. Its registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. RIGHT INDEX LTD is responsible for the personal information you provide to Become.

When you get in touch.

We use your name, email address and any company details or message you choose to send to respond to your enquiry and discuss how Become could help. We keep a contact record, your enquiries and the next actions needed to follow up. Please include only the information needed for that conversation.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to the monthly email. Newsletter consent is a separate choice on the Insights signup; there is no newsletter checkbox on the enquiry form.

If you choose the monthly email.

With your consent, we use your email address and optional name for Matt’s monthly email on practical AI, business performance and new research. We record your affirmative choice, the consent wording and version, when you signed up and the page you used. A newsletter signup does not create a sales enquiry.

The first edition is being prepared. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@becomeworks.com. We keep subscription information for as long as needed to provide the email and manage your choice. If you unsubscribe, we stop using your details for the newsletter and keep the limited record needed to respect that choice and account for consent. Any enquiry correspondence is retained separately for the purposes below.

Information sent with the form.

A form submission may include the page you sent it from, the external referring website’s domain when available, and short campaign labels on the current page. This helps us understand which pages and communications lead to enquiries. We do not use browser storage to follow your journey across the site, collect advertising click IDs or record full referring URLs.

Storage and security.

The website is hosted on Vercel. Contact records, enquiries, follow-up actions and newsletter consent and subscription records are stored in Supabase Postgres. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the forms from automated abuse, and Resend sends enquiry notifications to Matt. Service providers process the information needed to provide these services. Security checks use technical request information; the forms’ rate limiter stores short-lived, rotating identifiers rather than raw IP addresses.

We use enquiry information to take steps you request before an engagement and for our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, maintaining business correspondence and securing the website. We retain correspondence for as long as needed for the enquiry, any resulting engagement and applicable record-keeping obligations. We do not add you to marketing emails simply because you enquire.

Your choices and contact.

Email links open your own email application. You decide when to send the message. You can ask about access to, correction or deletion of your information, or object to its use, by contacting hello@becomeworks.com. Your rights depend on the circumstances. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
